[AMPL 25089] AMPL encryption instruction

Dear AMPL Team,

I have a question. As I know, AMPL provides official, built-in encryption to protect model files (.mod), data files (.dat), and script files (.run). The encrypted format is .bam (Binary AMPL), a compiled binary format.
Would you please let me know where this instruction for “ampl -c (compile) command” is located? Thanks.

That’s most likely an LLM hallucination, there are no “.bam” files in the AMPL ecosystem or ampl -c command.
