[AMPL 25064] Requesting AMPL Access/License

Hello, my name is Funke and I am a student at UMD. I am working on an fba model problem and due to deprecations in the Matlab codes we have been unable to get results (we previously got results before the codes were deprecated).

Now we are trying to move to cobrapy and although I have gotten the smaller models to work, the larger models do not seem to be giving the desired results. We are hoping to try out the AMPL route. Could I please be provided with directions on how to get this license/ access?

Since you are a student, you can get free, full-featured access to AMPL — and popular solvers — by installing our AMPL Community Edition for Academia.

AMPL has a powerful Python API, amplpy, for embedding optimization models into Python applications. All versions of AMPL include full access to amplpy.
